Your Role in the FQP

FQPs are about the implementation of realistic and practical solutions to problems. To make sure this FQP delivers the right solutions for your business, it needs the involvement of the people and organisations engaged in the delivery of goods and services in the local area. The benefits of business involvement with FQPs are to:

  • increase knowledge on all sides of the debate leading to better understanding of your business needs
  • lead to greater consultation on matters that affect your deliveries
  • provide a forum where the public and private sector can work out the solutions to problems together
  • stimulate best practice
  • promote measures to increase the efficiency of your freight movement
  • focus on delivery
  • make freight a consideration in the early stages of any programme and not an after thought
