What is an FQP?

What is a Freight Quality Partnership? There are over thirty Freight Quality Partnerships, or FQPs, in the UK, bringing together the knowledge and expertise of industry and the public sector. They may differ in size and scope but they all aim to develop an understanding of distribution issues at local level and promote constructive solutions, reconciling the need for access for goods and services with local environmental and social concerns.

The Brimsdown FQP, which is one of the first in London, is supported by the Government’s Sustainable Distribution Strategy, the Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy and the London Sustainable Distribution Partnership.
